REPORTING TIME
Strategically, in order for the management of the school to achieve academic performance and meet the need of the pupils or students and the demand of parents, the early morning session of the reporting of the student and pupil have been structured as;
Intensive Early Morning Classes
Students from Junior High School level 1 to 3 undergo a compulsory early morning classes with a fee.
Hot Early Morning Drill
Pupils from Nursery to Basic 6 also undergo a compulsory early morning drill which is for free.
 
Due to these programs, it has been officially structured that all students and pupils comprehend with the reporting time for the various departments as enumerated below;
    • PRE-SCHOOL (Créche, Nursery & Kindergarten) – 6:15a.m. – 8:45a.m.
    • LOWER PRIMARY (Basic 1, 2 &3) – 6:15a.m. – 7:00a.m.
    • UPPER PRIMARY (Basic 4, 5 &6) – 6:15a.m. – 6:30a.m.
    • JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (JHS 1, 2 & 3) - 6:15a.m. – 6:30a.m.
 
Any student or pupil who fails to comply with the reporting time will face the necessary punishment accordingly.
 
NOTE:
No entry for any school child after 8:45a.m.
 
CLOSING TIME
The school operates on Main Hours and extended hours called the Afternoon Classes or the After School Care.
 
Main School Hours
The Main School Hours start from 6:15a.m. and end at exactly 3:00p.m.
Afternoon Classes/ After School Care
After close of main school, there is an extension program referred to as After School Care for children in the pre-school and Afternoon Classes for pupils and students from Basic 1 through to JHS 3 from 3:00p.m. which also ends at exactly 4:30p.m.
The official closing time for pick-up of students and pupils who do not participate in the Afternoon Classes or After School Care is exactly 3:00p.m. Late picking after 3:05p.m. attracts a fine. Also, closing time for pick-up of students and pupils who participate in Afternoon Classes or After School is exactly 4:30p.m.for both pre-school and primary department, whiles the JHS department closes at 4:45p.m. Late picking after 4:50p.m. attracts a time.
 
NOTE:
The School’s gate is closed at exactly 5:00p.m. to all parents.

ADMISSION
    Applicants to the school must be willing and ready to comply with all the administrative rules and regulations     governing the school.
 
DISCIPLINE
    The SMT has the mandate to address all matters of discipline. The body (SMT) shall recommend suspension     of student whose conduct is unsatisfactory and matters on dismissal to the SMB.
 
UNIFORM AND STATIONERY
Each student or pupil on entry shall purchase from the school the following;
    1. Two (2) School Uniforms
    2. One (1) Polo Shirt
    3. Two (2) School Crests
    4. Exercise Books
    5. Note Books
The following shall strictly be provided by parents for students or pupils’ use in the school;
    1. Pair of Black Shoes
    2. Text Books (For JHS Students)
    3. Black Trousers (For Boys only)
    4. Black Skirt ( For Girls only)
    5. Lunch Box (To avoid children eating from polythene bags)

RULES AND REGULATIONS.


THE CHAPEL 
    1. The area around the Chapel should be as quiet as possible especially during the time of     worship.
    2. Silence must be observed at all times in the Chapel and on the stairs leading to the     Chapel.
 
THE CLASSROOMS
    1. The classrooms should be kept neat at all times.
    2. Students and pupils should be seated on their own chair and avoid moving from one seat     to the other.
    3. Students and pupils should not be seen roaming from classroom to classroom.
    4. Absolute silence must be observed during class contact hours
 
LUNCH
    1. Lunch is compulsory for all students and pupils in the school.
    2. Students must always use cutlery.
    3. Food should not be sprinkled on the floor.
 
WATER DRINKING SYSTEM
    1. Water is provided for drinking in the school.
    2. Parents are also encouraged to provide water for students and pupils.
 
THE LIBRARY
    1. Silence must be observed at all times in the library.
    2. No book may be taken out without signing the card.
 
UNIFORM
    1. Official or the prescribed school uniform must be worn from Monday to Thursday.
    2. For Fridays, prescribed school polo shirt should be worn with black trousers by boys     and black skirt by          girls.
    3. Full black shoe and plain white socks must be worn by all students and pupils from     Monday to Thursday.
    4. For Fridays, students and pupils are allowed to wear any decent shoe of their own     interest.
    5. For all girl students or pupils in the school, apart from small earrings, no student or     pupil may wear     bangles or other accessories.
    6. For physical education and games, parents must provide for wards sports wear.
    7. Wearing of sandals by students and pupils on Mondays to Fridays are not allowed.
 
HAIRSTYLE
    1. Only females are allowed to braid their hair in the school.
    2. No addition of wig for female hair braid.
    3. Hair braid should be simple for all female students and pupils and avoid the use of     pearls to decorate     hairs for pupils from Basic 1 through to JHS 3.
    4. Afro hair and braid of hair by male students and pupils are not allowed.
    5. Haircut should be simple and low.
 
SPORTS, GAMES AND EXCURSIONS
Sports, Games and Excursions are compulsory for all students.
 
VISITORS
Virtue International School is a day school and so;
    1. Parents and other visitors are not allowed during school contact hours.
    2. Meals brought to child after reporting to school by parents or visitors will be     rejected.
    3. Parents and visitors are not allowed to enter classrooms unless by permission from the     Head of Department.
 
CELEBRATIONS
Celebrations such as Birthdays, Valentine’s Day, etc. are strictly prohibited.
 
ELECTRICAL / ELECTRONIC GADGET
    1. No student or pupil may bring any gadget to school.
    2. Any gadget found on a student will be confiscated and the student or pupil punished.
    3. Cellular phones and phone chips are strictly forbidden in the school.
 
TELEPHONE
